The UI Artist is responsible for creating high-quality and engaging UI and motion design content for use in our games currently in development.

The UI Artist is responsible for creating high-quality and engaging UI and motion design content for use in our games currently in development.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Concept, design and pre-visualisation of menus and UI elements to a brief provided by key stakeholders such as the Art Director and Game Designer
- Creating production art assets and working closely with a front end programmer, and UX Designers to ensure they are implemented accurately in game
- Maintains and backs up all working files
- Ensures consistency and quality of own work
- Receives and understands feedback and modifies work based on direction
- Creates documentation supporting techniques and process and encourages the sharing of knowledge and ideas
Skills and Experience required:
- Bachelor's degree in 2D Art, Graphic Design, or equivalent game art qualification or experience
- Understanding of current UX and UI design trends within AAA titles
- Experience the game engines. Unreal engine specific knowledge of implementation, workflow, Widget Blueprints, Materials
- A strong interest in graphic & motion design, typography and colour theory
- Adobe Creative Suite: Being highly proficient in After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Experience with UI/UX software such as Sketch, InVision, Adobe XD
- Experience creating style guides, prototyping processes
- Interest in accessibility and multi-platform scalable UI
